6th Annual Winter Walk

On March 15th, a record number of supporters (275!) walked to be a part of the solution to end homelessness. We are grateful for all of the walkers, sponsors & volunteers who made this year's extraordinary event the best yet!

Special thanks to:

Nathan Detering from the Unitarian Universalist Church in Sherborn, Pat Deziel for providing the refreshments, Nancy Conley & others at the First Congregational Church who made the Welcome Home Baskets, Karen Bell & our new supporters from the McAuliffe Charter School in Framingham, and, last but definitely not least, all of the Holliston High Winter Walk organizers (Courtney Muller, Diana Boyd, Halley Goldman, Joshua Mutler, Julia Coppelman, Julia Demers, Kelsey Regan, Kristen Mosher, Liza Baxter, Mason Kinkead, Mike Shameklis, Sarah Rosenkrantz & Stef Shefter).

ICycle III

This event was a great success! With Boston Sports Clubs as our new, energetic sponsor, and 2 new very visible (& cold!) venues, we could not have predicted a better outcome! 100 cyclists braved the freezing cold on Tuesday, February 24th spinning for one hour outside at Dewey Square and Government Center Plaza to help end homelessness in Greater Boston. Thanks to all riders, sponsors & volunteers who contributed to ICycle III. See you next winter for ICycle IV!

2008 EVENTS

First Viewing Party

On September 25th, over 100 people attended our open-house party at the newly renovated 44 Appleton Street in the South End. Guests were able to tour this gorgeous five-floor home right before it goes on the market, while enjoying exceptional food, music and camaraderie. All proceeds benefitted HomeStart.

This event was possible because of 44 Appleton's owner, Robert Palmer, who graciously welcomed us into his home. HomeStart's gratitude also goes out to all of our committee members from the real estate community who helped make the First Viewing Party a tremendous success.
